I have 32bit Vista installed with my lappy as with the Vista 32bit disk. I want to full clean install with the 64bit version. Can I just contact my lappy's company and request for a 64bit ver disk, use any other 64bit version disk out there etc etc.

    Any tips? thanks

    What laptop do you have?

Did you by any chance receive a Windows Anytime Upgrade disc with it? If so, you can use that disk to clean install 64-bit. Detailed instructions are here.

Sometimes this disc is saved as a hidden file called WAUUPGRD, which can be burned to a disc. If you have a Lenovo laptop details are here.

if you have a friend w/ a vista 64b disk, just use it to do a clean install and use your 32b key to install. the key is good for 32 or 64b.
