Where did the games in my Windows XP go? You know Solitaire, Freecell, Hearts, Minesweeper all those goodies?
can anyone tell me where to find it?

Are you running vista now? Did you games dissapear in vista? If that's the case go to control panel - > add or remove programs and click on "Turn windows features on or off" on the left side. You should then get an option to install the games, you may need your vista cd. I know that for vista business at least, the games aren't installed by default.

quiong I think he just means win XP but the process is still the same in XP except in XP it is called "add/remove windows components" and then as said before install the games from accessories and utilities--> games...
As long as you have a factory installed windows XP you won't need any windows cd
Hope we helped you... -
no dice- hearts and others do not appear
but this same thing happened with my Wordpad, Paint, Calculator- those dissapeared but i found it somewhere on the drive and had to create shortcuts to it
but does anyone know why they disappear? -
Kudos to quiong. I just know that Vista Business is allowed to install games. I thought Business does not have game at all, have been trying to live it for months!!
Now i have 9 games in Games Explorer. Thank you! -
Try this:
1) Hit Win+R to bring up your Run window.
2) Type %SystemRoot%\system32\mshearts.exe
3) Hit enter.
You should be able to enjoy a nice game of MSHearts now.
For Solitaire, type %SystemRoot%\system32\sol.exe -
thanks i guess that will do?
Where did my Windows Games go? Solitaire, Freecell Hearts
