I used Vista Ultimate briefly and I could easily navigate to the Local Settings and other folders kept by apps to update my bookmarks and back up my Outlook e-mail folder, but have had no luck finding it so far in Home Premium. I'm, of course, an administrator.
Please let me know how to find these files. I've made System Files unhidden, etc.![]()

On your main C:\ drive (or system drive), choose Organize > Folder Settings > View tab > Show hidden files and folders. **I know that's not exact, but it's close
There should also now be a ProgramData folder on your main C:\ drive, where many Office programs store info.
Here:
Was ----------------------->Now
Application Data ----------> \AppData\Roaming
Cookies -----------------> \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies
Local Settings ------------>\AppData\Local
My Documents -------------> \Documents
NetHood -----------------> \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network -
