    Where is SP1

    I did a fresh install and SP 1 doesn't show up on Windows Update?

    Any advice?

    i did a bunch of driver updates to my HP dv6575 and after two days it finally showed up via WU :) so all i can say is wait.......

    You need make sure all your drivers is up to date.

    Check MS's problematic driver page, if you see your driver there then it wont show up on WU

    Go to your drivers folder and compare the versions listed with those in the MSKB article. Don't use the Device Manager, as it doesn't show drivers not currently in use. I had a problem with a fingerprint scanner driver, but I don't have a fingerprint scanner.

    Anyway, make double-sure your computer meets all the requirements before using the standalone installer (or Windows Update, for that matter). I just fixed the driver issue, restarted, and saw the download in WU.
