Hey guys on my D partition I have 10 gb i can't locate. My partition is 100 gb I see about 90 gb and the other 10 I can't seem to find. Is windows using the other 10 for ntfs format ? Or where is it. Can you guys please provide some insight for me. I want to install age of conan 30gb is required for any space will be helpful and I won't have to delete things I somewhat want to keep.
OH another thing can someone please recommend me a software I can use to see everything on my HD. Like DiskSpace finder the current program i am using. But its not very accurate as what it means by small folders on my HD which are taking up 18 gb and I don't see any files other then the main ones i have which are like about 10 folders (games)

According to every operating system ever:
1 kilobyte = 1024 bytes
According to ever drive manufacturer ever:
1 kilobyte = 1000 bytes
You can see where the problem comes from, and why you will always lose about 10% of every drive. -
:O i see ntfs ftw
.thx

u loose 1/8 of your hard drive capacity when formating your partition and i think there is know way around that ie. if u bought a 4gb flashdrive (4096mb) u lose (1/8)*4096=512 therefore the real capacity will be 4096-512=3584mb approximatly 3.5 Gb why is that, i don't remember

interesting....
I would have started a brand new thread asking if confiker could be responsible! -
right click on my computer select the device manager.
select the disk management.
in the disk management you can see all the drives and the partitions. may be your 10 gb hard disk partition is not created.
check all the information about the partitions of the windows and the size of the hard disk. you can create a new partition from the disk management. -
Where is my 10 gb?
