This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If you are asking where the bitmap that's displayed on your desktop is stored if you go to a website, right click on an image, and set it as background in Win 7 it's in you profile.

    I use a slideshow of cat pictures (1500+ and counting) for wallpaper and store them on the HTPC in the living room. It runs 24/7 so they're always there.
