    Hi
Where can I get a Vista 64 bit DVD with SP1 integrated?

I have Vista and I have a legal license, but for my next complete reinstall, I would like to do it from an SP1 integrated DVD, just to avoid my computer beeing wasted by not correctly deleted temp files, by installing Vista and downloading SP1 from Windows Update. Slipstream integration doesn't work with SP1.

I planned to order such a DVD form Microsoft Anytime Upgrade, as soon as SP1 is out, but this does no longer work without buying a license.

I have even searched trough some warez pages, but they offer only versions with cracks integrated and stuff, but I want a original untouched image, because I have a legal license.

Any suggestions, where I could get this?

I think people get it illegally, i think you have to wait for a while until you can get it from MS.

Yeah, you are probably going to have to wait until you can make your own disc using vLite or similar. "Warez" sites are ALWAYS shaddy, thus avoid.

You can get them through MSDN if you are a subscriber. It's the SP1 RTM. It was, of course, leaked and you-should-know-what some hours after.

Can you just get the Vista Ultimate SP disc without actually purchasing it??? I have legal Vista Ultimate lisence, and am curious how a store would just give you the DVD.

You might be able to just buy the sp1 install disc w/o vista though.

This SP1 crap is starting to annoy me. Release it already!

    But where to get it?

Until some weeks ago, you could order a Vista disk from Microsoft without buying a license, but this option lo longer exists.

If there is still any option of getting a DVD the legal way, please let me now. It should be replaced by the new version, as soon as SP1 is out officially-

Why don't you just download SP1 when it releases, burn it to a disk and keep it! And install it every time you (format and) install Vista.

In the case of Win XP, Microsoft shipped out a Win XP Pro CD with SP2 since I didn't have broadband access at the time (and downloading 200 mb would have taken forever)

Lol. Because it's almost impossible! Microsoft screwed everyone over and they are releasing SP1 as a executable (.exe). Nuhi (the developer of vLite) explained that you'll have to obtain a Vista disc with SP1 already integrated.

    Kinda blows.
