Which OS do you use? If multiple, list all. Just trying to get an idea of how many people use a non-Microsoft OS.

This should cause some dispute so prepare...

    I use Windows XP Pro.

Depends. I run linux 90% of the time at home (except for a few games) on at least 4 machines, and I run Windows almost exclusively at work, while adminning a small Linux server there. If that says anything ;)

ahh I've been in DOS/Windows world for 16 years now so it's very hard to switch. I use Win XP Pro most of the time, but find myself using Linux sometimes. I'm planning to install Ubuntu 6.0.10 when it comes out later this month :)

XP Home, XP Pro, Linux (Ubuntu+Mandriva), Mac OSX.
The only reason I use so many is because I'm taking a computer science course, and the college offers just about everything.

    @LankanDude
    What about Mono?

Used every version of Windows from 3.1 to XP. Dabbled in Linux a bit.

XP Pro and Ubuntu (and Mandriva) Linux. For now I have a dual-boot which I somehow managed setting up without losing everything. I'm pretty experimental.

I use Windows XP Home. I used to have Professional, but decided that I didn't need all the features, so yeah.

I use Mac OS X at school too, though. But I didn't give it a vote, cuz I rarely use it.

Linux on my aging desktop at home, OS X on my machine at work. When I (finally) decide on a new notebook, it'll be the first machine I've had with Windows in nearly 10 years.

Currently XP Media Center. Have used every Microsoft OS since DOS 5.0. Used OS X for a while last year and dabbled in Linux about 3 years ago.

XP Home primarily. I use XP Pro at school. I have several older desktops that have Win 2k, Win ME, and Win 98/98se. I've used and have 4 Linux distros on live CDs, but haven't installed them on a hard drive yet, tried once but didn't get anywhere. I will eventually get an older iBook or a MacBook w/ OSX on it when I get money.

Unfortunately, I use XP Pro mainly. I hvae my old laptop converted to Ubuntu 6.06 completely, but I just don't use it as often as I would like to. The computer is just so old that I would rather use my new one all the time, but it just has XP Pro and Vista RC2 on it. I don't use Vista as much as I had planned either. But that is really mostly due to games and the fact that my university's wireless security client doesn't work in Vista yet. If I could get that working in Vista, I'd probably be using Vista most of the time.

Are Macs good for gaming, or is it because most games require windows that you use xp?

    Also do you bootcamp XP?

Well, theres a few reasons that I'm going to be using XP for gaming...
First off, the games I have are for XP, so if I wanted to play most of them, I would have to buy the OS X copy (different publishers). Games that are UB often run equivilent to the PC counter parts.

I would consider PC's better at gaming though since they can support SLI/Crossfire. But my MBP does just fine.

On another topic, I'll be back to playing with Basic OS on a C64 I picked up from a friend... Ah, sweet memories :)
