This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Simple enough question, let's see what the answers are. Poll limited to the end of the quarter to keep the results from being skewed especially much by time.

    Let's go by which OS you are using at the time you are viewing this poll, thus creating a composite of home and work/school OS preferences. If you're on Linux/Mac/Unix/OS2/etc., please vote the next time you're running Windows. But don't go pull out a copy of Windows 1.01 just to throw off the poll!

    If there's a future version of this, any OS versions not receiving any votes will be dropped. Home Server will be added once it eventually comes out, as will Server 2008, etc. Versions ordered according to release.

    XP Pro on four machines, including this one. XP Pro for the foreseeable future for that matter...

    XP now, and will be using it for at least a few years more with the notebook I am getting - which is arriving tomorrow :)

    Home server has been out for a while... but you don't use home server to cruise the net....
