I just bought a pre-configured Lenovo T60. From the store I bought it from Windows XP Professional was pre-installed on it. I then had the option to upgrade to Windows Vista Business OEM for approx. 50 USD which I did.
When I recieved my computer they had removed XP and had pre-installed Vista for me which I thought was nice and convenient. I also got a Vista Business DVD with an OEM licence attached to the jewel case. But the XP licence sticker was still attached to the bottom of the notebook...
Here is the question:
A couple of days ago I recieved an e-mail from the store where they said I both had an XP and a Vista licence. They wanted me to remove the XP licence sticker in the bottom of the notebook and send it back to them (the store).
Do I only own the Vista licence or do I also own the XP licence which the computer originally was configured with ? I guess I've paid for the XP licence because that was included in the price of the notebook. I just paid 50 bucks more to get Vista. Do I own both licences or should I follow the e-mail and send back the XP licence sticker ?

I'm almost 100% sure that you only own the Vista license at this point.
