Which Windows versions have you used during its beta? Like say Vista Beta or the XP betas. Also good to state the build if you know it :D.

I was gonna use Vista Beta 2 but the download got screwed in the middle :(. Tested Windows 7 6801 and 7000 :)

    xp, vista, win7.

was most impressed by vista and still use it now.

funny was, the beta of xp still works today and updates and all and isn't beta anymore. quite fun :) (not a legal version but older than xp itself and based on the beta.. :) i know quite some who used it for years. me excluded as xp never ran on my pc at home..)

I have istalled Windows Vista Beta 2 on my old Medion - it worked - only just.
It went a little while later...
Ever since no more Beta OSes for me.

Also, I don't feel like installing an OS - I've had to reinstal XP that often...

I have to say I'm fed up for life with installing operating systems.

    When possible I avoid it.

I've used the beta versions of Vista (RC1 and RC2), as well as Windows 7 (the PDC build, and Beta 1). Now that we have ways to virtualize machines, running beta's is very simple and less problematic. VMWare Server and Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 are great for playing around with the new stuff.

XP Beta, Vista Beta 2/RC1, Windows 7 builds up to 7000. Windows 7 has been my favorite beta so far.

    None.

I value my sanity. And I don't beta for free.

But, in the Grand Scheme of Things, isn't LIFE just one big beta? ;)

    uuhhmmm

have you thought about trying "acronis true image home 2009" or Ghost?? You just make an image of your os and reinstall from it if something crashes...takes me less than 30 minutes to restore my installation of vista x64.........

oh and as to the original question:
XP Beta, Vista Beta's, and Windows 7 builds up to 7000 so far.
