I use digsby since it combines AIM, MSN, Facebook, Yahoo etc.

If you use it, make sure you don't install any of the junkware it tries to get you to install (hit cancel for all of them)

I use Pidgin (before it got a name change from GAIM) for Yahoo/IRC/MSN/Gmail, but I use Windows Live Messenger 2010 Beta when I need to do webcam, I'll use the offical client.
