I would actually skip as many programs as I can during the start-up.
If you're not certain about a program you should just leave it there. I have 80% of my programs disabled in the start-up. Really boosts up your computer. -

Ok, for starters get rid of Abode (uninstall, get Foxit) and Cyberlink everything (use VLC or KMP instead).

Most of those applications you have are non-essential. The "reevaluate" ones surfasb mentioned are apps you don't need, and don't want during startup. Removing/disabling them will most likely not harm your computer in any way. Especially get rid of all those TOSHIBA programs.

reevaluate means disabling them, testing everything's fine and how you want it, if not reenable.
those toshiba things are toshiba-specific (duh!..), and thus, we don't know them. they might be important for your system or usage, or not. -

As daveperman said the Toshiba specific ones may be important or may not. No offense to anyone else who has voiced an opinion thus far, but in all honesty, regarding these specific ones I would only trust the advice of someone who at least has a toshiba listed below their signature line and even then I'd seek the advice of someone with your specific model.
But if you can't find that advice, just image the c: drive using a BOOTABLE CD and find out yourself. Start deleting stuff, take copious notes. Worst case you get the machine hosed up and it won't reboot. You break out your bootable cd, and restore the image. No harm done and you know yourself what is and isn't needed.
Then using those copious notes report your findings back here. Tis part of the process here to share that sort of info for the next soul who attempts what you are doing.

Obviously, someone who has done this before with your model laptop can provide more specific advice. Until then, we are what you are stuck with.
Edit: I would love to do more research for ya, but I'm paid neither as a fact checker or as a paralegal. I have to make sure my coworkers know where the power button is........ -

Your advice was spot on, in isolating the ones that MIGHT be expendable. Others seemed to be certain that they were, even though it appeared they didn't own a Toshiba.

I think whoever said get rif of Adobe....
Adobe Reader 9 is quite nice and fast - if you need to view pdfs I definitely recommend it.
8 however was and is junk... -
