Apple Mobile Device Support -- If you have an iPod I believe this lets you sync it with iTunes

Microsoft Works -- Basically a crappy version of office, I see that you have MS Office Home and Student already so you can delete Microsoft Works as you can use MS Office for pretty much everything.

Norton 360 Premier Edition & Avast Free Antivirus -- You have two antivirus programs installed on your computer? I think this is a big no no as both programs can conflict with each other and lock your computer up. Uninstall one or the other

I think you can also delete most of the Toshiba stuff as that's essentially bloatware. If you need any of the Toshiba programs for any reason you can always reinstall them if they provided you with a disc or download them from Toshiba's website.

The following can be removed, I'm unsure about the rest, and as AsuraSky said, remove the Toshiba crap and if you need it, install it. Also, why do you have two Office suites installed? (2003 and 2007)

Adobe Reader 9.3.2 [replace with Foxit, IMO]
    Avast Free Antivirus- antivirus
    MS Office Standard Edition 2003
    Microsoft Works
    TOSHIBA ConfigFree
    TOSHIBA Value Added Package
Threatfire- spyware removal [There is an Antispyware in Norton]

There's probably more, but some other people can take a shot.

    Cheers,
    Joel.

There is a lot of software there that doesn't normally come pre-installed by any system maker. Did a friend do these installs for you or ???

    Ahhh, right. :)
Can I recommend a clean install then? If you shared it, you never know what was on there, and reinstalling would be great for speed. If not, that's fine :)
Just uninstall what you don't need, and stuff that we have suggested.

how do you do a clean install? If it requires Vista disc my computer came preloaded with Vista. By the wy, I appreciate all the help you guys. Thanks for helping me keep my computer running longer :D . I have to keep it until I graduate high school next year and I've had it since freshman year (2007?). :(

If you do not have the Windows Vista disc, does it have a recovery partition?

My dad might have the disc since he usually keeps them but if not, no it does not have a partition as far as I know. My dad set up my computer way back when. Wow... reading this myself makes me seem like a computer novice, lol.

That's alright. If you don't have the disc, it doesn't really matter. What version of Vista do you have?
