I personally have shifted to GMX Mail, I like the interface, I never get spam (so far), and I can send an attachment(s) of upto 50 MB in one e-mail.

have look at it >> http://gmx.com/

As far as I am aware GMX sends you their own adds ... so there is your spam.

I use yahoo for private uses, have google mail for public use :) (1 actually, 1 for public use, one from university) and else... Windows Live Mail for NBR use :D and 2 tiscali accounts for - ehm... non use...

Hotmail so i can use skydrive, and Yahoo so i can play fantasy. I would take hotmail over yahoo because i can get hotmail in outlook without installing 3rd party software

I have multiple services actually-All the bigs (GMail, AOL Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo Mail)

I'd rank WLM on top in terms of UI-It's clean and unintrusive. While many say Google's Gmail wins in this regard, WLM manages to expose more features while remaining easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. I've had some mail delivery issues in the past, but it's been good for years now. I don't use this account that often though

AOL Mail-The UI is decently modern but I just don't particularly like it much. I use this only because it's one of the longest running e-mail addresses i've had so most of my mail goes here. I use Outlook 07 to view this mail whenever possible.

Yahoo-I almost never use this, so giving an opinion of it, wouldnt be fair. lol

Gmail has the most confusing UI (particularly grouping of messages), but I still use it along with Yahoo and Live mail.

Really, I could never get it to work. Do you have a free yahoo account or a yahoo plus account? The only way I ever got the free mail to work was to install a program called Ypops.

I've got a free yahoo account.

See here, but remove the "plus" in the POP and SMTP addresses

I use Hotmail and Yahoo Plus, and I have tried many others. I find that Yahoo Plus has so many more options to customize the mail the way I want, that it's my first choice, for that reason alone.

whatever's confusing about that.. if you mean the conversation-grouping, then, well, might be confusing, but at least, you don't have to search random mails together to find out how you actually handled a topic..

since gmail, i dropped all other mail, being it web or local, for being sort of "twitter only". how often do you have mail conversation that is just one message long? normally, never. and thus, gmail does right what about everyone else does, or did, wrong for years. mails are chaotic.

i do have accounts on mostly any other server existing, but that's just in case it might be needed one day.

I mainly use Gmail and Hotmail (gets dumped into my Gmail account). Also have a Yahoo address that I would love to get rid of, but need it for 2 things (Flickr and my MyYahoo page). My family uses Aol , but I got rid of mine.

I find the grouping of sent messages (to the sender whose e-mail is in inbox) with the inbox messages confusing. When I am looking at a recent received e-mail from that sender, Gmail is listing the recent sent message with all the received messages grouped at the top (confusing for me atleast).

and doesn't it make sense to have the mail history of the right now recieved mail right at hand? normally, it does (and that's why we have the terrible reply-quote-queue at the end of ordinary mails).

it's not like it shows up random mails. only mails that are of the same topic.

Like most here, I have addresses at most all the major providers for one reason or another. Gmail is my primary webmail provider though. I find its UI to be the best of the bunch. Of course when I got my Gmail, AOL, Hotmail, and Yahoo were all still stuck in the stone age. They've since caught up in that area and are probably on par with Gmail. But I'm to lazy to switch now, so I'll be sticking with Gmail. I do like the new Hotmail. I still can't stand Yahoo though.

I think most of the people who find Gmail confusing are people who used desktop clients like Outlook and just find the style of Gmail different and confusing at first.

    1 from my ISP
