WPS , LibreOffice, Openoffice or Google Doc and Sheet?
I personally like Google Doc and sheet but the problem is it really takes quite a few seconds lag to shift between files even on high-speed broadband, which is something I really feel frustrated when handling a lot of documents.
Ms Office 365 may be very good but I only do with very simple documents and simple excel and I have no sponsor so I will certainly not spend that money

I've tried them all, nothing comes close to Microsoft Office. Period. -
Office is pretty good, I despise excel though. Stupid mundane issues like not being able to render correctly on 120hz panels.

If you don't want an online version, well, MS Office is the best one for sure (still something MS managed not to screw up...), as Ultra Male said. But again, since you don't need much features, either of them would probably do the job. I personally tried only LibreOffice, which is good. However, if you are using a lot of native MS Office formats, there might be some compatibility issues.
Otherwise, maybe try seeking out an older version of Office, maybe you can find one for cheap. Feature wise it doesn't differ much from new versions.
I still use 2010 at home, and current version of Office at work. Between the two I don't see much difference, except for GUI (d'uh) and a few "quality of life" features.
For example minimum wage in my home country is 450 Euros. Remove living expenses and even 7 EUR (subscription cost for 1 PC, although I don't know the price in Russia) becomes a considerate sum...Vasudev, Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

If you want a inexpensive product comparable to MS Office then you should look at OpenOffice.

I've been using Google Sheets to open and modify the .csv files I use for my work.

Use three; Excel 2016, OpenOffice Calc and Google Sheets. Each has its strengths and really couldn't rely on just a single one.
Calc:
- Simple interface, much like the good 'ol Excel (2010?) and, more importantly, it can both open and save dBase files. Ah, and you can drop it on a USB stick; Portable edition.
- Large sets (+4GB memory), 1M rows and column selects.
- Stuff I'd like available anywhere, so without recourse to my own programs. And Sheets also has a few 'online'-only tools you can use, such as for semi-live currency comparisons (see GoogleFinance). Couldn't find which currencies were accepted, so just tried all 308 from a wikipedia page; it swallows 149 atm
.
For documents OOo's Writer suits me fine. Typing's really not my thing though; loathe all document editors, but Writer slightly less so.custom90gt, Vasudev, Primes and 1 other person like this. -

It could be your computer lagging with Google Docs. Watch your CPU usage when you switch documents and see if it spikes. Maybe try a different web browser.
Pretty sure you can do a free trial of Office 365. That should satisfy your curiosity.
