This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm curious, how many of you are still dealing with the &%(*#*! Moduslink for your free upgrade? :D

    I've gotten mines already in April, from a end Feb/ early March Order Approval.

    Vista? I've got an OS with better 3D effects that runs on lower system requirements, and is faster on the same hardware, not to mention plays all my media and doesn't have any undiagnosable slowdowns or DRM limited drivers.

    What do I need Vista for? ;)

    I think it's a safe bet to say no one is... you had to order it before March something, right? In which case it's been over 2 months. Anyone eligible should already have it.

    Yup. Thread redundancy. :)

    I got mine about a month ago. Only one set of upgrade discs (Asus). But 5, count 'em 5, emails saying that my discs are being shipped.

    All of the emails sent after I received the upgrade discs! :eek: :confused:

    Don't know if other manufacturers are still lagging. Moduslink seems to be sending them out groupe by manufacturer.
