    yea, yea...we all know msft is retarded for having a million versions of the same OS...

    if apple would ever get a right click button, then i may consider switching..until then..no way

    coz windows is used in several places other than home. iT'S NATURAL TO HAVE SEVERAL VERSIONS.

    I don't think it matters if Windows has different versions. Example, I don't need the extra business funtionality available for Vista, therefor Home Premium is fine with me.

    I think releasing multiple variants is a far more sensible option. This way, there is software better suited for particular tasks and environments. One thing that I find personally annoying is that OSX is often being quoted as cheaper however it is more expensive to buy the requisite hardware initially.

    Why doesn't he speak about the High Price of the Hardware? :rolleyes:

    I think most people can get better spec PC machines and save more than $129 :p

    I still want a MAC tho. LOL
