I saw screenshots of HW Monitor that show that the very first list of items that are supposed to come up are the Voltages and Fan Speeds. That screenshot can be found here.

I'm using a Dell XPS M1530, T9300, GeForce 8600M GT. I was hoping HW Monitor would show the Voltages and Fan Speeds since I've been using SIW and that doesn't show those...

    Appreciate any replies...

The majority of notebooks will not show fan speed or voltages in HWmonitor , The picture you talking about is most likey from a Desktop.

    Thanks for the clarification Tinderbox.

Is there any program I can download, that monitors my notebook's fan speeds and voltages?

I've heard Speedfan can do this, but according to a previous thread, it's good for desktops, but no so much for notebooks...

You can check I8kfanGUI - it's designed for Dell laptops/desktops. The XPS M class might be supported.

RMClock should let you monitor the voltages.

Thanks for the tip. But I've read in previous posts that for the XPS M seies, it's stuck in some read-only state and it's not fully compatible with it.

Thanks too. But apparently RMClock has some issues with the XPS line as well according to previous posts: here and here.

I tried checking Notebook Hardware Control, and that won't seem to work either, since I have SIW installed too.
