Ok I checked for updates and installed some new ones and when I looked and update history I saw a few that said pending so I try installing them but it wont let me. I get the error code 80242014. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks!

It may also be due to a problem with the update agent being corrupted. I had a similar problem that was resolved by uninstalling the update agent and then forcing a reinstallation of the latest version. When I get back home (and, more importantly, if I remember - brain's like swiss cheese these days :D) I'll try to post a more detailed explanation from the email exchange I had with MS support.

If I haven't done so in a day or two, send me a pm this weekend to remind me.

That is a little odd. Did anything show up in the event logs relating to updates or the update agent?
