I've noticed that some animated GIFs and smilies run slower (jerkier or just plan slower as if they are in slow-motion or something) than in Firefox. Has anyone else noticed this? With Firefox, everything runs at the speed it should.

Possible, but there are flash animations being converted into animated gifs, to make them accessible to those who don't have the Flash plugin.

    cheers ...

but would someone please help here.. why our window photo gallery, vista doesnt play GIF animation, stored on HDD/local drives. while in XP window fax n picture viewer used to play that.

i had to change the settings (after doing right click + open with - )so GIF opens with IE in vista.. :|
