Well, all Office programs still work, considering each and every one is activated. However, each time I start a program up, Windows prompts me for the installation package, "PROPLUS.MSI"--I'd happily oblige if I had the file.

It never used to do this.
    What could be behind this?

I recently disabled several services, if that's the problem.

Could this be related to your registry cleaning session?
