I got the Adobe Master Collection CS3 from my school, for like 10 bucks. It installed fine, and installed many times after that fine too, but now, during installing it restarts the computer, and I have to repair the install. Is the anything I can do to fix this?
The copy is not pirated, though it is burnt to discS - the IT people did it! It has a genuine key. Is it maybe a bad burn?
Any help/discussion would be great![]()
Cheers,
Joel.

What OS did you previously install to, and what OS are you trying to install it onto now?
-
have the "IT People" fix it. And be sure to ask their boss to help.
I'll bet you will find that the burn is a pirate copy. -
I don't see how being pirated would be the issue if they're using a genuine key. And I'm sure it's not the disc. I did read that having other Adobe CS programs installed can be an issue. make sure you uninstall and clean up any previous installations, and try again.

The previous installs were on either Windows XP or 7.
BTW, it's not pirated, because I watched them burn the discs.
The installs were on freshly installed OS's, so no other Adobe software was installed. I just don't understand why something that worked fine previously, doesn't work now -
adobe finally invalidated a widely used install key?
I would still kick it back to the guys who so kindly burned you a copy of master suite for somthing likel 0.5% of retail cost. if it is in fact legit, they should be able/willing to burn you a replacement set of media. be sure to watch them this time too.
adobe educational license pricing is typically 25% of list. for master suite that would be approx US 400-
people get replacement media all the time. if you are a legit owner there should be no problem. -
Cheers, I'll just go see the IT dudes.
Why does this happen? (Master Collection CS3)
