I have always been kinda skeptical from installing leaked drivers from various sources such as Station-Driver.com or others.

When I did, there was always something in the back of my head telling me "what if it has a virus or something bundled with it"

I kept on installing the latest/leaked drivers though after reading a few reports from other forums that they are safe

After watching this video (note the part where Linus talks about how Rootkits can get to your system), I personally will never install a driver other than downloading it directly from the source

    What do you guys think?

PS: I know I have made a Clevo Drivers Thread where I uploaded all the drivers to mediafire.com but I only did this because the Clevo servers are unreliable.

Never install software from a shady source, be it drivers or user-level applications, etc.

Unless you're doing it in a VM which you don't mind trashing, that is ;)
