I'd usually settle with Pro, but this feature in Ultimate confuses me:
"Work in the language of your choice and switch between any of 35 languages."
I'm sure that all versions have regional and language settings. What does this do exactly?
-
There are optional MUIs to change the stock interface to the language of your choice.
-
Meaning you can choose the country default language in menu (?) Language pack inclusive, per se.

I still don't fully understand. Explain to me like I'm a kid.
-
Let us say that you use English menu, your friend uses only French menu. Both of you can use the same system by just log in and out of the current profile, et voilĂ .
The normal region and language settings of other versions are mostly limiting to currency and keyboard input.

What is being said, is that let's say you like Windows in English and your parents like Windows in German. And you and your parents uses the same computer. With Windows 7 Ultimate edition you can have that your account is in English and your parent account is in German.
-
Ah, now I get it. Good thing that's a useless feature for me. Thank you.
-
It is rather a not-needed feature than useless for many ;-) But yes, you save some money for not getting it.
cheers ...
