    This is really wierd.
First I thought it was me.......but its actually true

Say if I wanna drag a folder to another.
When I do that once, it doesnt happen.
    Second time it does.

Say if I cut and paste a file or folder to somewhere else.
    First time no success.
Hit paste second time and its done

    EXPLAIN!!!!!!

i take it that u r using vista explorer to copy/drag/paste, or r u using another file manager? same user folder? cross network?
can't duplicate ur "weird" issue! even from xp partition to vista and vice versa.
my vista environment: uac off, avast, indexing off, sidebar active

    cheers ...

    I have the same problem!

Sony SZA480 laptop. I setup Vista Ultimate on a desktop and it does NOT have this behavior. My laptop came with Vista Business 32bit.

do you have any program installed that monitor your clipboard, or take over your clipboard for the matter?
