This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Will Everest update the Free version to cover Core 2 Duo?

    Anybody know if this will happen? What's the time frame if so?

    Are there any other diagnostic programs that I can get for free that does essentially the same thing as Everest Home Edition?

    Everest does not have a free version anymore. If you got one, it was not from the main Everest site. The company no longer supports that version. If you want to pay for the pro version, they do support that.

    You're out of luck if you want a free Everest that will correctly identify the most current chips.
