    Will Win7 Premium Retail accept an OEM key?

    I have Win7 Premium x64 OEM on my notebook in my signature and i want to do a clean install.

    I also have Win7 Premium Retail x86x64 DVD`s

    Will the OEM pre-activated key from my notebook backed up with ABRbeta work if i do an clean install with the Retail dvd ???

    Yes it should be working. They key alone may not, but the ABR activation backups all the validing registries.

    Yes just download the corresponding OEM certificate
    Run the commands under command prompt elevated permission
    slmgr -ilc Directory\Certificate
    slmgr -ipk ENTER-YOUR-OEMKEYS
