    Will this work on Vista?

    This is probably a stupid question but I just ordered a laptop and am interested in Streets and Maps. Below are the Sytem Requirements and they only list XP. My new laptop will have Vista Home Premium. Does this mean it will not work on my new laptop or does the "or later operating system" verbage cover Vista?

    System Requirements

    To use Microsoft® Streets & Trips 2007 with GPS Locator, you need:

    PC with Pentium II or higher processor; Pentium III recommended.
    Microsoft® Windows® XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server™ 2003, Windows 2000 Professional or later operating system required.
    Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 included (will not displace your primary browser).
    For Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional: 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended).
    For Windows Server 2003: 256 MB of RAM.
    For Windows 2000 Professional: 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended).
    Running additional applications simultaneously may require additional memory.
    Available hard-disk space: 1.2 GB for full installation or 600 MB for minimum installation; some users may require up to an extra 100MB for System Files Update (hard-disk usage will vary depending on configuration).
    A DVD-ROM drive.
    Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution monitor with 256 colors.
    Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse®, or compatible pointing device.

    Streets and Trips 2007 "Works with Vista" per Microsoft, so you do not have to worry about compatibility. Check this link out for future reference.

    Yeah, HP is selling their Vista laptops with the option of Microsoft Works Suite (which includes Streets & Trips), so it must work okay.

    Microsoft OS/Programs are essentially compatables. Money, Works, Streets/Trips, etc

    I think they try to design them that way, but it does not always work.

    I remember when the pre-release of Office 2007 was launched, it needed a rather large update to run stable under Vista. You would figure that they designed Office 2007 specifically for Vista, but the groundwork may have been laid using XP.
