The top one shows how it looks when I boot into Win7, and the bottom one shows it in Win XP.
This wouldn't bother me, but now my shortcuts on the XP Desktop are messed up because W7 moved them one drive letter down, so they don't work.
Also, I've set my Win XP registry and other files to be defragmented every time before the XP Welcome Screen pops, and now it defragments them in the following order: D, E, C instead of the usual C, D, E...

Any time you dual boot, the partition letters will change. The partition with the OS you boot into will always be C:

yeah, that happened to me as well.. i just redid all my shortcuts
my windows 7 drive seems to be I: in winxp but when I boot into w7, it becomes C:, nothing I can do about it, just fix em
