This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Win 7 reinstallation disc on same model/diff laptop

    Quick question; I have 2 Dell Adamo 13s. 1 is running on Vista 64 and the other is Win 7 64. Can the OS reinstallation DVD from the Win 7 computer be used on the Vista one? Would the same key work or would I need to purchase a new one? Thanks.
