    Win Xp theme changes byitself

    Ive recently done a fresh install of xp po on my laptop and ive noticed that after i apply the classic windows theme with an altered task bar, when i restart or shutdown then turn it back on sometimes the theme changes back to the original xp theme, even though it still states its using the classic one. pls help

    I've run into the same problem on my mom's desktop awhile back. To keep the classic look i ended up disabling the windows 'themes' service.
