    Win7 slow log in

    It takes almost 20-30 seconds to log in. I'm using a jpeg as a background and don't have any solid colours(I read that it slows down when those are present) but still can't find any other solutions.

    If you have a lot of software installed they may be opening when you log in... Also, there are alot of Windows services that need to be opened. So the more you have installed the more time it will take.

    I select only 2 programs that are in the start up options. As for services, I have no clue on which ones to disable or keep enabled.

    I already tried that and no avail.
