When using IE10 as a tile in Metro UI, how do you access your favorites??

I can do it in desktop mode but in Metro it seems to simply want you to type in the url with no access to favorites or any of the desktop available bars.

Swipe top or bottom to bring up the URL bar. Tap the URL bar. "Pinned," "frequent," and "favorites" appear above the URL bar...you may need to scroll to the right to get to favorites.

OK, I found it. First, all I can say is "what a mess" to get to a simple favorites bar. Also IE10 didn't pick up the favorites I had on IE9. Second it is populated with tiles. And I have 30+ favorites in each of my browsers. Not gonna happen with tiles vs available screen real estate.

The more time I spend with this the less I like it. However I will keep after it, simply assuming that they spent enough time, money and intellectual capital on it, that it can't really be as bad as it seems in the first few hundred or so hours of working with it.

For your usage patterns, IE10 Desktop is clearly the better option. For people who prefer IE10 Metro (probably tablet users), pinning the half-dozen websites they use regularly would work better than leafing through all their desktop bookmarks. They could then access them right away when tapping the URL bar or could even access them from the Start Screen.
