THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE WHO HELPED ME IN THIS VERSION:

"Hello, If you weren’t aware, WinBubble 1.74 deletes start pages in excess of 4. I used to have 6, but after applying settings, it’s now only 4....
Thanks for the quick response. I should have mentioned that your WinBubble tool is very useful. I found it when troubleshooting a folder rights problem. Vista is surely more difficult to deal with than XP." - Don, Manager - Kronos Division

The XYZ GUY, your great men! thanks for debugging winbubble for me.
I'm sorry, I only updated the program for changing icons in version 1.75
"That is not the case with your custom icons. It requires a desktop refresh for the icon to change from the full icon to the empty icon."

Also, Thanks to Calvin, I almost give-up already. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
    I OWE YOU GUYS...BIG TIME!!!
    :)

Does it work with Windows Vista x64 and can we change what locations are shown in such prompt boxes?

Here, for example, instead of the default ones, I want my own locations. I could do it easily in Windows XP, but I'd rather not try that tweak in Windows Vista x64.

I'm sorry for replying late guys...i have no vista x64 yet. anyway,i don't know if I'm going to develop a 64-bit version. it's really expensive. my laptop is 64-bit capable so no problem in hardware. Maybe in Windows 7 i'm going to buy a 32-bit and 64-bit version.

    I'm really sorry.

It's a freeware and it doesn't earn any money. I think now, I understand why Microsoft Business Model is the Best. No money, No innovation. There is no real FREEWARE. Or maybe i'm not good yet in it.

anyway, my next target is increasing it's profit and don't worry guys, it will remain free. so that, more apps will be given for free.

Wow... you mean, just like the default permissions settings for user-created files in Vista. ;)

By the way, the real way to backup and restore file and folder permissions is by using the "icacls" command. (It may be best to run this from an Admin command prompt.)

    From "icacls /?":
    Code:
            icacls c:\windows\* /save AclFile /T
            - Will save the ACLs for all files under c:\windows
              and its subdirectories to AclFile.

            icacls c:\windows\ /restore AclFile
            - Will restore the Acls for every file within
AclFile that exists in c:\windows and its subdirectories

However, it does require that you ran the command with /save before messing around.

The truth is...Ownership must be called Permission
But, for me it must be called Ownership because the permission is only one user, the current user or the owner itself.

Thanks for sharing with us swarmer... :)
I remember i saw that on icacls /? command.
*I think there is something to note about that command.
let me scan my notes first...anyway again thanks.

If you have more tips you can share, please post!
