The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Subject line says it all. Are these clowns at Microsoft effing insane? There's absolutely no system/application documentation included in Windows 10? And the site one gets directed to through their so-called "Help and Support" functionality is a pathetic joke, too? Dear god...

Wow why did you post? Now you're rep is one below your post count!

Also, Windows has not been moving in a consumer friendly direction for some time now. I'm still not sure what the best course of action is. Staying on older OSes will become more limiting as time goes on, and isn't practical for users on high dpi displays like myself where scaling sucks on earlier Windows versions.

Edit: dw I'll fix it when you're done with this thread ;p
