So is there a plan for XP or no?

 

Actually, WinBubble will work on Windows XP, all you need to do is to install .NET Framework. Many of Windows now has a .NET framework installed to their XP. but some error's will appear. anyway, IT'S SAFE...

WinXP has no UAC, aero, diff oem info settings and so on...

For me, All of them are great Tweaking Tools... Much powerful than WinBubble.
Anyway, WinBubble can Combine All of them by using the Tweaking Toolbox...

Just downloaded this, pretty cool and seems useful expecially for those pesky icon problems.

But what about this icon problem?

 

Try this... I don't know if this will work or not:
1. Open Windows Explorer > c:\Users
2. Right Click the [username] folder
3. Properties > Customize Tab
4. Click the Restore Default Button

Inform us!!!

The article didn't say how to restore the username icon.

But I found out how to do it.

Right Click Desktop, click personalization.
Top left corner under tasks, select change desktop icons.
Then change the username folder back to default/whatever you want.

 

I didn't notice that...anyway, thanks to you...
I'm going to expand the icon customizations in ver 1.7...
I hope I can unlock some of my plans...

* Winbubble 1.0-1.5 registry setting for the program will be deleted automatically
* "Alt-A" was added for applying customization and tweak
* Disallow Flp3d and Changing wallpapers (AS REQUESTED), Disable Internet access, Remove "Map/Disconnect Network Drive" in Computers Context Menu
* More Context Menu Customization (Desktop, Windows Explorer: all files, folder and drives) - as requested
* Disabling Windows Sidebar and Failed DNS Caching was transferred to Optimizations Tab
* "I can't see the Apply Button", Some of the users had change the font, virtually it will affect all programs.

I've downloaded the newest version (1.65), but when i try to open the program i get an error:
"Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
I can click OK and the program opens as if nothing happened, but as soon I want to make changes, I get the same error and an option to ignore this error or close the application imediately. I've chosen the later due to obvious reasons (no idea what the error is).

I don't know if it's this version or my computer does not like winbubles per se, since this was the first time i've tried the program.

 

Thanks too guys... Without your comments and suggestions I will not create Winbubble. This version is for all of you. the icon thing, I removed it... It needs more study and test.

Hello Jabe...I'm sorry I made a mistake, I uploaded a different file. That file was used on tracking bugs... Anyway it is Just alarm messages...

6 hours ago after the release, I made a mistake. I uploaded the wrong file... I quickly change it but I think some of you may downloaded wrong file (12 people). It may give some messages but it's fine. Please redownload the new file...I'm really sorry about that...

HOW TO ADD WINAMP IN THE CONTEXT MENU: (As Requested)
Don't forget to click the backup first...
Open winBubble > miscellaneous tab > Click "windows explorer (all files)" > type "WinAmp" or any in the name > Click browse button for the path of .exe file (command) > at the end of the command add this "%1"

Name: WinAmp
command: [path] %1

Click the Add button
