    What operating system do you have? What version of Live Messenger? When did this start happening? Does it happen all the time, or only on certain pages?

    Vista Ultimate SP1. I using WLM 8.5. Just now laptop didnt shut down safely because of my power adapter suddenly out of power. It happen on WLM only.

    go into ie option and then go into advanced

    and disable script debuging

    they two option ie and other

    did you try what i suggested and disable script debug

    you cound also turn off the msn today sign in page on mesenger
