    Ok, now I dun really have the liking of Vista (I m just gonna wait for 7, I dun need Vista and DX10 is a dud to me, dun need to convince me to Vista, I reject!).. Thinking of getting a new XP. The only problem is, i can't differentiate (D*** you M$ for releasing so many confusing versions) OEM and retail (which is the one i want).
    Which one should I get if there is totally no difference. And are the retails the one the one with gold hollow graphic disc??

    Retail - one you buy from a store which has a box and a manual.
    OEM - one you buy from a volume licenser which only contains the disc.
    Don't - D, O, N, ', T - Don't

    I wonder what the next generation of pc users have to say about vista, people who never actually tried XPP. I personally love XP and am sticking to it for as long as I can.

    The problem is that I am getting it from Ebay (you can't really get them from shops nowaday, but I will try and see)...

    And who the f are you too? I ve never seen you around...
    For the untruth, I apologize, I've tried searching in online shops (in germany) but they all failed to mention whether it is OEM or retail. That's where my conclusion came from and thus, I started a thread here to seek for help.
    By the way, I am really sorry if I offended you as the f word is quite offending, imho.
