    Windows - Write protect error

    What does this mean? Heres a pic.

    It happends when I open some of my programs, like Malwarebyte and IE7. This has happend for a while so Im sure it happends with other things too.

    Hope this is posted in the right forum.

    My suspicion is that somehow your drive/folders/files attribute has been set to read only. Review your System Volume Information just to be sure.

    Just right click on Start> Explore All Users> Organize> Properties to verify folders/files properties and see how the attribute is being set.

    You might have to do this on different folders.
