This has been happening for about 10 hours now. I did a reset for Windows 10 and it's been in a 64-65% then jump to 80% and restart loop and I don't know what to do. It gets to "Configuring Settings 45%" Please help! :-(

I had this happen on a NUC I was building for someone. Turns out the RAM was bad. I ended up scrapping that build and going with a SFF desktop.

That happened to me in an attempted upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

If you are upgrading, I advise you to try a clean install using our Clean Install Guide. You can use your Windows 7/8 Product key it will activate just fine no need to upgrade.

It's not an upgrade.. The laptop came with Windows 10 and I'm trying to reset it to get it back to factory settings but the reboot loop keeps happening...

You mean using a USB drive? Yeah, but none of the drivers are there if I do that method.. (Like the webcam, wifi, etc..)

maybe if you tell us your laptop model, or better yet, put the model/specs in the signature like me, we could easily help you with that.

You could just replace the RAM if it's not soldered onto the motherboard.

I had the same issue on my gaming machine, replaced the RAM from another machine and it worked first time. Sent the RAM back to Crucial and they replaced it no questions asked. Hope this helps.
