When I installed Windows 7 bro, I started getting random errors here and there of this app not being able to launch or some random crashes that drove me crazy and I nuked it :(

I did install all the drivers and disabled TPM but I don't know why is it so difficult to run this on new machines. I also used the Simplix Pack to update. I feel like giving it another go

Thanks for trying. I went to rep you and have to spread more around first and come back.

I have had zero issues with it on the P870DM-G, P870DM3 and Tornado F5/16L-G-1080. Worked fine on all three. Will be interesting to see if the Ricky Retardos from the Redmond Mafia have done anything to make using it on my new desktop with 8700K a problem, or if it is going to be artificially difficult. But, I'm going to make doing that a top priority. I'll probably be at the top of 8700K leaderboards with several benchmarks without Windows 10 cancer OS kicking my CPU in the nuts.

I wonder if one or more of the proprietary MSI apps is causing an issue with it. Are any of them designed to run on Windows 7?

nope, none were designed for Windows 7. the drivers are cross compatible with the exception of the Intel VGA Drivers which I used a site called Drivers Cloud to find the driver for it as all the ones on MSI's site and Intel's site wouldn't even install. I wonder if me running Windows Update after having had run the Simplix Pack had anything to do with this but I did ensure that I installed none of the cancer updates as I checked them against my list of updates to avoid. I might try again when I'm free but this time won't install ANY update for a start

That definitely might be a cause. As you know, I don't allow that feces to run. Maybe that's why I have been so blessed with stable late-model computers running Windows 7. You know as well as I do, these imbeciles from Micro$uck are going to pull out all the stops to sabotage the last good version of Windows. They may have developed a sick fetish for digital genocide watching NVIDIA kill performance on past generations GPUs every time that have something new to sell. Any update released within 90 days of when Windows 10 went RTM in July of 2015 probably should be avoiding like gonorrhea. There's nothing to stop them going back and adding malware to their past updates that used to be safe. Windows Updates need to be classified as NSFW.

@Mr. Fox I gave some rep points to @Phoenix
I stopped using W7 on host PC and simply moved it to VM, whenever I want, I just install it and every thing is setup in 5-10 mins on a SSD and it boots very fast. I think W10 should come with a feature that has pre-defined profiles during OS install, For example:
    1. Mr. Fox Profile (No UWP apps and bloatware)
    2. Mr. Phoenix Profile (Auto updates all apps and OS)
    3. Mr. Papusan (High Performance mode all the time,)
    4. Standard Users (No UWP apps)
    5. Standard Users(UWP apps and everything else) <--- I like this one.
Profile 1, 2, 3 and 4 will no longer have support for UWP apps or any cross platforms which behaves like an OS enthusiasts always wanted.
Profile 5 is stock OS just like Android OEMs or vendors ROM files.

Have a look at my sig rig Phoenix. We are MSI buddies now, lol. I never intended to buy MSI actually, but they had a Z370 motherboard MSI brand for $89 free ship... which is the lowest I have ever seen a Z370 motherboard, that combined with the i5-8400, which I can't overclock anyway only cost me $293 total shipped. Decided it was time once and for all to retire my 2500k. This is only a temporary rig for me for a couple years, then I will be doing an all out build with the latest i7 processor at said time.

On topic though, I am a little sad to say goodbye to my laptop, I just hope it sells, its so hard to sell these things, have to be willing to take a heavy loss on it or just keep it. We will see what happens though.

On topic, I am still doing 1607 for my next build... which is the sig rig... all the parts should be here tomorrow, and I am settled into my house with my parents... yet again... lol oh well, life could be worse. :)

The only problem with this is in regards to DRM on kaby/coffee lake CPU's when trying to update Windows... I use WSUS offline updater so no issues so far... still it sucks never being able to update properly. I probably am missing one or two things every time I try 8.1. Win 10 1607 with shut up ten has been serving me well, and now that I made the move to 4k, I am not sure, but I think Win 10 is the best scaling OS for 4k, but I might be wrong on that.

    Short question:
If I want to create my own ISO using the MSMG tool with the latest updates, do I need to integrate those files you specified (This adobe update, and the other update file in the OP)?
If I won't integrate them, but my Windows will be activated, I will be able to update using "Windows Update" after the installation?

Thanks, and thanks for all your hard work on this.

This thread is not for discussing the MSMG Toolkit Usage. I posted a brief video on how to use it in the OP and specifically mentioned, for any further questions regarding how to use that tool, visit the official thread on MDL as this is beyond the scope of this thread: MSMG Toolkit Support Thread

As for integrating updates, you need the .CAB version of the update not the .MSU

Your Windows will automatically update once you connect to the internet so don't burn too much calories on this. This is not a pirated or cracked version, it will function exactly like the regular ISO and you will receive regularly Windows Updates (AKA Windows Viruses)

Go and ask in the freakin' forum! I am not hear to teach you how to use the tool! MSMG Toolkit Support Thread

THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION ABOUT THE BLOATWARE FREE EDITION! NOT AN MSMG TOOLKIT TUTORIAL THREAD! I MENTIONED THIS IN THE OP!

Sorry if this sounds mean but I've had it with people not reading the OP then posting here on how to do this or that in the toolkit

I've spent the past 4 hours trying to do this. all failed attempts. Removing all metro apps BUT the store app didn't work. Now I have to redo everything, integrate the .NET Frame work, Windows Updates, etc. THEN remove the metro apps one by one. This will take a long time since the ISO now has 8 editions, Home, Pro, Education, you name it.

Someone send me a virtual cookie for God's sake

Just stick standard Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro man. If anyone else wants to do it for their version, let them. Anyone with a version other than those two probably has the technical know how to do it on their own away. If it makes your life any easier, just remove Store altogether, not sure if I read it right or not, so ignore me if I am wrong. I mean who needs the store honestly, lol.

Off-topic: I am absolutely loving my new Coffee Lake build... wow my 2500k was so outdated... My 960 EVO is soooo fast now, holy crap, lol. Everything seems very snappy.

Uploading the ISO to MajorGeeks as we speak. This would be the cleanest ISO you've ever had thanks to the new MSMG Toolkit with advanced cleaning methods in co-operation with the author of the NSudo app

New item removed with the new MSMG Toolkit:

    Windows People Experience Host

PS: I have spent the entire past day to do this on my Windows 7 OS and that was the problem. Seems that it doesn't work well on a Windows 7 host OS so I had to format and install Windows 10 just to be able to use the toolkit properly.

Yes now the Group Policy Rules aren't working properly when applied, they don't do anything, and the Store app thing.

I regret to inform you all that due to how complicated Windows 10 has become for MSMG's tool to work on, and due to how buggy the MSMG Toolkit is.

I will abandon this project and just stick to using O&O ShutUp10 to disable the bloat as I've wasted countless days and hours on this it has taken over my life.

I am using RS3 v1.1 from earlier today. Not aborting. A) I don't care about Windows 7 Integration of games. B) I prefer that the store DOESN'T work. C) Everything seems stable so far, clean install took me around two hours, but I have everything done, including my 4k IPS 27" monitor overclocked to 70hz, stable. About to play some games, if all goes well, I'll be the only person in the world rocking this version. I'm number 1.1 baby (que the Nelly hip hop song, 'I am number 1')

fyi, I can't ever do 60hz EVER again... 70hz is not much better, but I was super close to refunding this monitor... but 70hz is slightly noticeable just web browsing, 60hz web browsing makes me want to gag.

EDIT: just did some gaming, everything works fine. however... I have decided to refund the 4k monitor and stick with my trusty 114hz QNIX 1440p. i just cant do 70 fps. omg its so laggy looking... lulz.

Isn't Fraunhofer MP3 codec already present in Windows versions?
NTLite is my go-to tool for tweaking Windows. Nuhi actually spends a lot of time in tweaking NTLite for max performance.
@Phoenix Do you remember seeing W10 Home Single Language edition for FCU because I haven't seen it yet.

For this next bloatware edition can we remove the Store, Edge and OneDrive? With the possibility of removing all that Xbox Dvr crap Dx. Also little side note, Privacy+O&O is the best thing to use right now. Been on O&O for years, i really love how it adds firewall rules on top with other features O&O is missing. I'm also fine if you use Home and Pro for Windows 10 editions like damn don't give up.

hi, phoenix, you should relax a little

i used msmg 7.7, with an iso torrent of win10 with the .19 update included, then removed all the crap from it, working just great and perfect

i know many people dont trust iso torrents.... well, i do, at leats from "gen2" uploader

i would suggest you to stick with only one windows, pro, nothing else, you have a video in order to teach other people to do it

the problem with msmg is how annoying and slow it is, and you have to work x times for every edition

also i would suggest to delete everything possible, i always do it and do not need anything else, no store, no defender, no nothing, remove everything possible, even advanced thing (this is annoying since it is one by one and slow like adobe flash, and all the other crap)

if anyone wants my iso just need to write me

it is pro x64, with everything that can be removed with msmg 7.7, update .19 included. working flawlessly
