This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Windows 10 : DVD not detected

    Common issue after Windows 10 upgrade. Have tried seeming EVERY possible solution found through a Google search.

    Nothing has worked.

    Tried installing drivers from Lenovo but receive message "Only Firmware for IBM is updatable" and "ATAP Device can not be found:.

    What software are you using to read the DVD? By default W10 doesn't have software to play or read DVD. That is a 15$ option from Windows Store.
