I have a 1366x768 display on my convertible tablet, but want it to run at 1920x1080 resolution rescaled. When I connect it to a 1920x1080 TV over HDMI and set the TV as clone, an option to rescale my main display to 1920x1080 appears, I use it and the picture's great. When I disconnect the TV, however, my display resolution returns to 1366x768 no matter what. The only way to make my display run at 1920x1080 rescaled without attaching an external monitor/TV that I see is to make use of some virtual display driver. Please advise me what software should I use to achieve my goal!

It appears you are running Intel HD Graphics. Have you tried this already?

@Mr. Fox yes, of course. It says custom resolution exceeds bandwidth and refuses to change.
