Hey all. I got a new laptop and it uses windows 10. My goodness things on windows 10 is a lot different than 7 and not in a good way.
First off, i tried to connect external Monitor to it. It connects without an issue. With my windows 7 laptop, i use my 24' external monitor as my main display and the laptop screen as the other one. Most of the time, everything is on the main display with nothing on the other screen.
My issue is I can do this... except if i want to drag something to the laptop screen... the laptop is on the left side of the desk, the monitor is on the right, i have to drag it to the right which is the complete opposite of what i want. I could fix this on windows 7 easily which i recall switching the 1 and 2 box. Im having tons of issues with this on this new laptop with windows 10. I did a lot of trial and error and can't fix this. I know its extend display and trial and error doesn't work. The other thing is if you look at the laptop screen, why are there icons and everything else in the taskbar? There should be none of that on the 2nd monitor. So why is it there?
The other thing is there is absolute no sound on my external monitor which is my primary monitor. I could fix this on windows 7 very easily. I have no idea how to with this.
Also when i click on a picture, with windows 7, you could just use the scroll mouse on the mouse to get a larger image of the picture. On windows 10, all that does is go to the next picture etc. Thus only way to zoom in on the current picture is pressing the button on the bottom right.
Can someone tell me how to fix these issues? I know windows 10 is a lot different from 7 but wow changes like this are very frustrating.

Edit: tried to upload a picture, doesn't seem to want to work though :/
Well, I'm not sure about the picture zooming thing, but for the monitor "order".
Click the start button, then the settings gear. Then push the settings button. In there is a bunch of categories on the left side, the first one should be display. In there you can move the monitors as you described (works on my Windows 10 anniversary machine, when I hooked it up to my TV)
