Windows 10 failed restore activation

Need help
I clean install my windows 10 build 16299.125 and cannot active after using key and restore the spp/store folder
before I always succeed restore activation
I previously backed up my token store
there are three activations namely windows.office.visio.project
and it always works when I restore when doing a clean install
but somehow after i did clean install to 16299.125 my windows can not active.
only office.visio.project
I do not change hardware. and I am confused why only windows that just can not be active. while office.visio.project can be active
I have also done a backup on microsoft toolkit.opa backup and other software restore activation
but windows can't be active. and it seems my serial windows no longer valid. how to overcome this?

now i'm trying to install old version windows 10 build 16299.64 and 16299.15
whether windows updates can affect my windows activation

 

I had this issue with Win 10 Iso version 1709 build 16299.192 just the other day. I kept trying to get it validate my license key. After second time it asked to Upgrade my os. I had to do this or else it would not like my key, which was from win 7. But this is same components. I did not have to pay anything though, but it validated my key now. I hope this helps.

 

Have you tried changing the boot order and booting off the install disk? I had this problem too and had to enter my key this way to get it to activate. For some reason I couldn't upgrade to Windows 10 pro from Windows home edition via the Windows upgrade option in the store.

 

I had this problem as well.. I contacted microsoft chat support and activated my windows via telephone call process as they have given me a code.. try the chat support but dont let them do remote access as they will just mess up you computer(just being cautious).

 

I have done this before too when I changed motherboards but used the same SSD m.2 that contained WIndows 10 on it.

 

Have you tried the Smart phone activation? This is how I got mine to work. For some reason online activation doesn't always work.

Smart phone is the best way to go when you call the number in your Region use a smart phone to get the txt link and use that to activate your W10.
