I am looking at 2 surface products to replace my ipad. I am thinking either the go 2 LTE or the pro X. I love the lines of the X but have reservations regarding the software. In edge, can I still make everything an "app"? Also, is the version of Edge on the X the desktop or mobile version? Where I do some work online that I can only use the desktop version of Edge, this is a needed thing for me. I can get away with using polarr for my photo editing on the X.

Next question is there a PRO that has LTE? or did they move it to the Go and X?

Oh, one more thing, Will the X have the same samsung phone integration as "normal windows"?

If I'm not mistaken Microsoft's "Your Phone" app was added to the ARM version in April or May. The Pro X certainly seems much better specs wise and yes it has LTE. And in line with your concerns, I agree the X may not be as versatile as the x86 variants like the 7 Pro or Go, but it does have x86 emulation for 32 bit apps. While initially skeptical, I now believe ARM will be the future but I certainly don't think we're there yet. Unfortunately in terms of cellular I think you're gonna have to choose between the X and Go, unless you are willing to stick a cellular dongle on the 7 Pro. I think the X would be the better of the two.
