Recently downloaded 7077 64 bit and found that I could not update the 7048 32 bit that I presently have installed....
Does anyone have a copy or a site to download 7077 64 bit??

    Thankyou....

Oh come on, it takes 15 seconds to find it. Just google "Windows 7 X86 build 7077" and the 3 first links will be the 3 biggest torrent trackers.

Yesterday I downloaded a copy on PirateBay bit torrent and burned it to a DVD.
Later today after work... I will try to do a full installation on my P530H.

The installation went smoothly, but again I could not boot from the disc even after ensuring the boot sequence in Bios....
Finally decided to just do an Update...
The speed that 7077 responds is MUCH faster than 7048.
So far... the only issue that I have observed is that when I try to use Microsofts Media Player, the system locks up...
This problem happened twice when trying to play a DVD; so I just used VLC Video 0.9.9 which works fine...
Will continue to test the functions.., but so far I like this build....

Last night I loaded the last of the drivers for my Sony P530H. All the devices are working including the built in GPS.....
Tested several functions last night; and changed the desktop background from the floating fish to the Arches of Moab, Utah...
This build responds so much better than 7048.
Really looking forward to the release of W7....

HDCP is actually on Nvidia's side. W7's default Nvidia drivers are sucky, no problems with the Vista ones, from my experience.

Since it's the same drivers as Vista, there may not be any upgrades for some devices. Yeah it's missing some old drivers but it's in beta, they should be integrated in the RTM.

MSFT is starting to take out all of the debug instrumentation that is normally built into beta OS 'releases' Note that the ISO sizes are getting smaller. In my experience, instrumenting applications 'degrades' performance from 10%-20%.

During development it's necessary to capture ALL failure and debug data and the relative hassle of degraded performance is well worth it.
