So I installed W7 Enterprise on my E6400 and I'm finding the sound level to be low at max volume. This is whilst playing movies on Netflix or playing something on Windows Media Player.

I couldn't find any drivers on Dell's website for my sound hardware.

    Any help?

You should be able to use the Vista drivers, if you haven't already tried them.

I'll try those. Do you think the drivers is what is causing the low volume?

It could be, the volume is different for me when I use different drivers.

Did you try a different multi-media program with a different music file. Is it louder?
