    Windows 7 External Monitor Turns Off - please Help

    I have a MSI A6200-206US Laptop and I keep the LCD monitor off and use an external 24" crt monitor. I went to Power Options / Display / Turn Off Display After: and set it to NEVER but the monitor still turns off after 20-30 minutes or so.

    Is there a setting in Windows 7 Home Premium that I overlooked that can cause the external monitor to turn off?
